Invites and joining

The code isn't accepted. Codes are six characters and never contain 0, O, 1 or I. Codes expire and have a limited number of uses, so ask the organiser for a fresh one, or tap the link they sent instead.

"Request to join" instead of "Join". The organiser has switched on approval. They get a nudge and you will see the calendar as soon as they approve you.

Leaving. Open the calendar's members list and choose Leave. Owners need to transfer ownership to someone first.

Membership and billing

How it works. Every member subscribes after a 14-day free trial; there is no free tier and no ads. Monthly £2.99, annual £19.99 (prices vary by country).

Read-only. If your membership lapses you can still see everything but cannot add, reply or RSVP. Resubscribe from Settings → Membership, or tap Restore Purchases if you already pay on another device.

Cancel or change plan. Apple handles all billing: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Mingle. Refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Notifications and reminders

Nothing arrives. Check iPhone Settings → Notifications → Mingle, then Mingle Settings → Notifications for muted calendars and quiet hours.

Too much. Mute a single calendar from its members page, or turn off individual kinds of update in Settings → Notifications.

Your data

Export. Settings → Export calendar (.ics) gives you a file that opens in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar and most others.

Report or block. Use the menu on an event or post, or a member's profile. Reports come straight to us.

Delete your account. Settings → Delete account removes you from every calendar and deletes your profile. It cannot be undone. See the privacy policy for what happens to calendars you own.
